Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette Peters (born Bernadette Lazzara on 28 February 1948) was an American actor, singer, and children's author who hails from Ozone Park Queens New York . Her work spans more than more than five decades and covers the stage, television, solo concerts, and recording. The actress was nominated, and she won three Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards were won for four Broadway casts albums that she appeared on. Peters was a performer as a youngster on stage, and then was later on, she was cast in roles for teenagers during the 1960s and the 1970s. Alongside her roles on The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and for other shows on TV, she was also praised for her roles she had been in Annie and Silent Movie. The 1980s saw her return to the stage saw her become one of the Broadway's most famous stars for over three decades.
