Christopher Peter Meloni has been a popular American actor for many years. The actor is best famous for his roles played in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". The first time he became interested in acting was during his college years. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been active in both films and television, however it is his roles on the small screen that gave him popularity and much admirers. His ability to portray characters from both sides of the law is what has caught the attention of the public. He played the part of a serial murderer in his first television series project but later went on to play the role that of a NYPD detective. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he's been awarded multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards.
